What has been updated and what are the benefits?

1. Tags functionality

Users can now add, edit, or delete specific remarks and annotations to their shipments, even after creation.

This flexibility improves tracking and organization, allowing for quick identification and retrieval of critical information when needed.

2. My shipments / Company shipments structure

New segmentation into "My Shipments" for personal tracking and "Company Shipments" for shared tracking among colleagues.

This new structure provides better organization and visibility. Personal shipments stay separate, while company-wide shipments offer shared tracking, ensuring seamless collaboration.

3. Archived shipments feature

Users can now archive shipments instead of deleting them, ensuring historical data is preserved.

This feature allows users to retain historical records for audits, compliance, and future reference without permanent deletion.

Use Case Examples

Tags functionality scenario: A logistics manager handling multiple shipments wants to add custom notes to track priority shipments. With the new tags feature, they can now add tags such as "Urgent," "Delayed," or "Inspection Required" to better organize their workflow.

My shipments / Company shipments structure scenario: A shipping coordinator managing their own shipments can use "My Shipments" for individual tracking. Meanwhile, a large logistics firm can leverage "Company Shipments" to allow multiple team members to access and monitor shared shipments, ensuring everyone is on the same page.

Archived shipments feature scenario: A company that needs to retain shipment records for compliance purposes can now archive completed shipments instead of deleting them or keeping them in the central page. This allows them to keep their dashboard clean while maintaining full access to past shipment data when needed.
