Area Statistics is a tool that allows users to review certain information for a selected area on the map.
The tool may be accessed either by opening the menu and selecting “Area Statistics”.
or by hovering over the are of your interest and clicking the statistics button
Upon clicking any of the options shown above, a window opens that displayed the following statistics:
Vessel Types
Vessel status (underway, anchored/moored) and Vessel Speed
The most popular Destinations
Most popular Flags and Year of Build
Navigational status
Median Time elapsed
It is possible to filter out and exclude certain exclude vessel types or vessel statuses from the results by clicking the edit (pencil) icon.
