Special devices

Producing devices has been particularly challenging due to recent challenges in the global supply chain, prompting us to explore all available options. As a result, we introduced a few special editions, which are not individually documented here due to their limited production quantities. Below is an overview of these devices and additional information.

Both devices are based on the Raspberry Pi platform, so the instructions for that can be used from similar devices. Please find the devices in the overview below. The labels for the ports are indicated on the device. However, it lacks some of the LEDs for AIS reception.

If you do not yet have a MarineTraffic receiver and your area is not adequately covered, you can apply for a free AIS receiving station to expand our network. More information about it can be found here. Become an AIS Partner
