This guide helps you resolve common issues such as seeing the “Nothing to sea here” error message or being unable to log in to your MarineTraffic account.

Step 1: Clear Cache and Cookies

Website errors often occur due to outdated or corrupted browser data.

  • Clear your browser’s cache and cookies.

  • When clearing data, make sure to select only:

    • Browsing history

    • Download history

    • Cookies and other site data

    • Cached images and files

  • This will keep your saved passwords intact.

📖 Guides:

💡 Tip: Before clearing cookies, you can first try opening MarineTraffic in a private/incognito window. If it works there, clearing cache and cookies will likely solve the issue.

Step 2: Try a Different Browser

If the problem continues, try accessing MarineTraffic using another browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
This will help confirm if the issue is browser-related.

Step 3: Reset Your Password

If you still cannot log in:

  • Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page to reset your credentials.

  • Follow the password reset link sent to your registered email.
