Output terminals
The transponder unit FA-1701 contains output terminals on the ports COM1 to COM6.
Any of these output terminals can be used. Always make sure that the initially connected listeners receive the AIS signal.

Parallel connection
The installation manual does not give full specifications about the output load. However, it does indicate the type of RS-485/RS-422 transceiver: ADM2857E.
Serial & contact interface I/O circuit
COM1 to 6
The data sheet for the ADM2857E transceiver indicates support for up to 256 listeners.
