Why are my fleet vessels inaccessible and how can I restore access?

If some vessels in your Fleet are not visible, this usually happens because your subscription plan changed, expired, or was canceled.

Fleet capacity and vessel visibility

Each MarineTraffic plan includes a Fleet capacity limit β€” the maximum number of vessels you can keep active at one time.

  • The Active On/Off toggle in your Fleet controls which vessels are visible.

  • For example, if your plan includes 10 vessels, only 10 can be set to Active.

  • Any extra vessels will appear inactive until you deactivate others or upgrade your plan.

Note: If your subscription has been canceled or is inactive, your Fleets remain stored in the system, but all vessels inside them become deactivated until your plan is reactivated.

After renewing or upgrading your subscription

If you’ve renewed, reactivated, or upgraded your plan:

  1. Confirm that your subscription is active in My Account β†’ Subscription.

  2. Go to your Fleet page.

  3. Check the Active toggles β€” some vessels may need to be manually reactivated.

Reactivating your subscription does not automatically turn vessels back on. You can choose which ones to activate based on your current plan limit.
