To effectively manage your MarineTraffic API services, follow these steps to access your API keys and review your active and inactive API services.
Step 1: Access Your API Services
Log in to your MarineTraffic account.
Navigate to the My Account → API Services section.
Step 2: Review Your Services
You’ll see a list of all your API services, each with a colored header indicating its status:
Green header → Active API Service
Red header → Inactive API Service
Step 3: View Service Details
For each API service, you can view specific details, including:
Created – When the service was created.
API Key – The unique key associated with the service.
Documentation – At the bottom right corner of each service, click the hyperlinked word Documentation to access the API documentation.
⚠️ Note: Displayed parameters and available information may vary depending on the specific API service.
Important Clarification
MarineTraffic offers two separate product types:
Online Plans (e.g., Enterprise Plan)
API Services
Having an Online Plan (like Enterprise, Essential or Basic Plan) does not automatically include API access. API services are sales-supported, so if you require them:
