MarineTraffic allows you to manage your uploaded photos at any time. You can:

  • Delete your own photos if you no longer want them displayed.

  • Suggest the removal of other users’ photos if they do not meet MarineTraffic’s photo standards.

This article explains both options step by step.

Delete Your Own Photos

If you wish to delete one of your uploaded photos:

  1. Go to My Account > Photos Uploaded.

  2. Locate the photo you want to remove.

  3. Click the Trash icon at the end of the row where the photo is listed.

This action will permanently delete the photo from the MarineTraffic database.

Suggest Removal of Another User’s Photo

If you come across a photo in the MarineTraffic Photo Gallery that does not comply with our photo standards, you can request its removal:

  1. Click on the photo in question.

  2. In the Photo Details table (top left of the photo), click Suggest Photo Removal.

  3. Your suggestion will be sent to the MarineTraffic team. Our team will review the photo and take the appropriate action if the request is valid.

The screenshot below shows the Suggest Photo Removal option.
