Set preferred units for wind and vessel speed from user profile in the settings section

How to update units for wind speed and vessel speed

You can set different units for the following information:

  • Wind Speed

  • Vessel Speed

  • Coordinates

  • Timezone

    • For more details regarding the timezone preferences, please see the article:

  1. From the map, click on any vessel or click on the account icon.

  2. When the vessel details panel appears, click the bar at the bottom of the details page that contains Speed, Course and Draught.

  3. Once clicked, a new menu will appear with options for "Units preferences".

  4. Click on Wind Speed to select units from the options below:

    1. Beaufort (Bf)

    2. Knots (kn)

    3. Kilometers per hour (km/h)

    4. Miles per hour (m/h)

  5. Click on Vessel Speed to select units from the options below:

    1. Knots (kn)

    2. Kilometers per hour (km/h)

    3. Miles per hour (m/h)

Or follow the steps below:

  1. Open your account like the image below:

  3. Then, click on "Units preferences".

  5. Then, you change the units of the "wind speed", "vessel speed" and "coordinates".

Your changes will be saved automatically and applied across the app.
