Where to find it
From the map, tap on any vessel to open its details page
Tap the Current position tab
Scroll down to the Nearby Vessels section
You will see a list of vessels currently located near the vessel you are viewing
Tap View all to see the full list
What information is shown for each nearby vessel?
For each vessel in the list, you can see:
Information | Details |
Vessel name and flag | The name and country of registration |
Current area | The general maritime area (e.g. Aegean Sea) |
Bearing | The direction to the nearby vessel, expressed in degrees (0°–360°) |
Distance | How far the nearby vessel is, expressed in nautical miles |
Tap to explore
Tapping on any vessel in the Nearby Vessels list will open its own details page, allowing you to explore its full profile, voyage history and current status.
Important note
The Nearby Vessels section is based on the selected vessel's position, not your own device location. If you are looking for vessels near your own location, use the Vessels near me feature instead.
