Although anyone can have access to a lot of MarineTraffic features, it is essential that you register in order to start enjoying the vast capabilities of the platform to their full extent.

As a first-time user, you will find the "Register" button located at the bottom left corner of the MarineTraffic homepage.

Upon clicking the "Register" button, you will be able to register using your email or via your social network account.

Following the email registration process, you can click on the CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH EMAIL. You will then have to fill the registration form which can be done in a matter of seconds.

You may simply fill in some information and select your password. After this step, you will receive a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided us with, containing a link that you will need to click in order to activate your MarineTraffic Account.

Note: The link in the e-mail is valid for 24 hours. In the event that you miss the 24-hour window, you will need to follow the registration process from the beginning.

Upon completion of the registration process, all you have to do is simply sign in to your created MarineTraffic account using your e-mail address (the one you had used for your registration) and your selected password. You can tick on the selection box next to "Remember me" so that your credentials are saved in the respective fields.

As an alternative, you can use the Social login, which gives you a frictionless option to single sign in on MarineTraffic using your account on a social network. You can choose to CONTINUE WITH GOOGLE account or CONTINUE WITH LINKEDIN profile by clicking on the respective button.
