By using vessel past tracks, you can both visualize and gain detail on a vessels previous route.

To use vessel past track:

  1. From the map, or from a managed fleet, select a vessel.

  2. When the vessel is selected, you will see a button underneath the vessel's name in the vessel details panel called 'Track'.

  3. Click the 'Track' button and you will be met with a new view that provides a few options:

    1. Events

    2. Route timeline

    3. Settings

  4. Click on Events to gain details on a variety of vessel events. These can include events such as:

    1. Sailing in high winds

    2. Entering/exiting areas of interest

    3. Manoeuvring

    4. Drifting

    5. Stopped

    6. Underway

    7. And many other events - all of which are provided with timestamps

  5. Click on Route timeline to gain a detailed timeline broken down into small time increments that provide the Vessel speed and the Wind speed at each interval. Additionally, you can view the route itself which is visualized on the map.

  6. Click on Settings to change the time horizon from the last 24 hours, to the last 3 days up to the last 7 days.
